Do you need to list an event in this Calendar?

Just send to the webmaster a flyer, as attachment, with the full info ( who, what, when, where, time, cost, etc.) in one of these formats: .htm, .html, .jpg or .pdf. In 24 hours your event will be on the Calendar. (In case your file is a .doc, please save it as web-page and check the result with your browser before send it ). If you are not able to originate your file in any of the above formats, just send to the webmaster an e-mail with the same data for assistance.

Anyhow.... be aware of the following rules:

1- This is an educational site not a free ads site. As consequence no specific personal or commercial advertising will be accepted as material to appear in the Calendar. Example : price for private lessons etc.

2- No material related to someone else event will be listed or canceled or modified. Examples : "Please cancel or post this John's event ..." It will not be done if you are not John himself.

3- No future events that are ahead more than the current and the next month can be visualized ( by design). Example: if the current month is September no events happening in November can appear in Calendar.

4- The style, format and priority of the events of any specific day are set as follows :
- first listed (as position) are "workshops". They appear in bold and italic
- second "milongas". In bold
- third "practicas". In regular style
- fourth "classes". In regular styles

Exception: If a practica follows a class of the same teacher, the practica may appear after the class to visualize the sequence

5- All the events in the Calendar will be visualized with the same color (blue) and same size. Please don't ask for special privileges for your event. It will not happen.

6- In case two or more similar events (two milongas as example) are announced for the same day, all will be posted. The rule will be: "first come, first serve". That means that the first (as position and time) to appear in the Calendar will be the one first arrived to the webmaster, independently of the format used when sent. Preannouncements are accepted and will stay in calendar for one week. After that they MUST be substituted by the flyer of the event or will be cancelled.

7- If you request to post a series of events - like lessons on a College or series of classes- you are strongly requested to indicate the last date of the series as soon as it is known to you.

8- The webmaster has the authority to make changes in the files to be posted to adhere to the above. These changes will be notified by e-mail to the requester.

9- As soon as a new event will get posted, an e-mail will be sent to the requester to notify the fact.

10- All the data ( who, what, when, where, time, cost, etc.) should be sent at the same time. With all the events happening in Arizona there is no time to go back to the same event several time for additions/corrections.

11- Events announced by e-mail to our E-Groups will NOT substitute the specific e-mail, needed for obvious legal reasons, to the webmaster asking to post that event. No direct e-mail, no listing.

12-To conclude: this service is free, volunteer and unbiased (equal for everybody). Please refrain from "pretending" but just kindly "ask". Your courtesy will be appreciated.

If you find any discrepancy to these guidelines on the Calendar please notify it to me and it will be timely corrected.

That's all. Have fun.
