Jayne Lee

Jayne Lee has been teaching movement arts for over 30 years. Trained as a dancer in London and at Julliard, she danced and choreographed for London Contemporary Dance Theatre for 10 years and toured internationally. In 1990, Jayne moved to Flagstaff to become a Grand Canyon River Guide, she co-founded and is co-director of both Human Nature Dance Theatre and Canyon Movement Company. She has been on the roster of artists for Arizona Commission on the Arts since 1993. Ten years ago Jayne became enamored with Argentine Tango and has been dancing and teaching at Human Nature Studio in downtown Flagstaff along with Jon Rudy and Nancy Williams. She is building a thriving community of dancers in Flagstaff by teaching weekly classes and practicas holding a Monthly Milonga the second Saturday of the month. She often brings Guest Teachers to Flagstaff and travels to Buenos Aires, London and other cities to train and dance Argentine tango. Jayne is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® with a private practice in Flagstaff; she offers both individual & group lessons.
